Yangquan political advisers fulfill duties at Shanxi Provincial Two Sessions
Yangquan city's members of the 13th Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) have fulfilled their duties and put forward valuable proposals at the ongoing second session of the 13th CPPCC Shanxi Committee in Taiyuan, the provincial capital.
Issues such as rural vitalization, industrial development, talent development, the improvement of people's living standards, and the continued integration of culture and tourism, have been the focal points for the members.
Li Wenbing, secretary-general of CPC Yangquan municipal committee, suggested strengthening rural planning, improving the public service system, continuing to enhance the rural living environment, and increasing industrial support.
Deputy Mayor Li Jun submitted a proposal titled "Suggestions for Further Improving the Social Assistance System in Shanxi Province". It recommended accelerating the updating and improvement of the social assistance verification system, establishing a mechanism for incentivizing trustworthiness, and punishing dishonesty among social assistance recipients at the city and county levels.
Regarding the integration of culture and tourism, Zhang Li, vice chairman of CPPCC Yangquan committee, suggested leveraging unique historical and cultural resources to create high-quality intellectual property products and expanding their application in different cultural and tourism scenarios.
After thorough research and careful consideration, Shi Wenbin, chairman of the Yangquan municipal committee of the China National Democratic Construction Association; and Zhang Huaijun, chairman of Shanxi Guanlin Agricultural Technology Co, respectively submitted proposals titled "Suggestions for Strongly Supporting the Development of the Sodium-ion Battery Industry in Shanxi Province" and "Suggestions for Effectively Promoting the Standardization of Agricultural Production and Constructing a Modern Industrial System for Shanxi's Characteristic and Advantageous Agriculture".
Wang Kaimin, general manager of Shanxi Zhongke Frontier Technology Co, submitted a proposal titled "Suggestions for Taking Multiple Measures to Promote the High-quality Development of the Private Economy". This includes optimizing the approval procedures of various departments, improving tax policies, and enhancing the business environment. It also suggested strengthening international cooperation to help private enterprises explore global markets.
Zhang Dongchen, vice-president of Baidu Inc, presented a proposal titled "Suggestions for Strengthening the Training of Artificial Intelligence Talents".
