Yangquan marks International Children's Day

Yangquan city in North China's Shanxi province held a launch ceremony for a series of events on May 31 in celebration of International Children's Day, which falls on June 1.
On the same day, the Yangquan preschool education development publicity board was set up at the launch ceremony site. An art works exhibition of Yangquan Experimental Kindergarten was also held, and the children, parents and teachers of the kindergarten performed various cultural and artistic programs.
May 20 to June 20 serves as the 12th National Preschool Education Publicity Month, based on the theme of "Listening to Children, Growing Together".
Kindergartens and education bureaus in counties and districts of the city will team up to publicize Yangquan's preschool education development concepts and achievements; further solve the bottlenecks that restrict the preschool education system; follow the learning characteristics and physical and mental development laws of young children and teach according to their aptitude; and improve the overall level of kindergarten operation and the quality of childcare.
