The city of Yangquan has achieved full coverage of rural delivery and logistics services. 

Yangquan's postal express has been plagued by a lack of terminals, long delivery times, high transportation costs, and weak coordination with rural e-commerce companies. 

Since the beginning of this year, the Yangquan postal administration has been promoting the full coverage of rural delivery and logistics services in the counties of Pingding and Yuxian, both located in the city.

Zhang Chenping, a person in charge at Yuxian STO Logistics Co, said that to reduce the high operating costs of express delivery to villages, the Yangquan postal administration has promoted the integration of industrial resources at the village, town and township levels, and helped express delivery enterprises establish a unified distribution system and standardized rural delivery terminals, as well as realize the intensive utilization, resource sharing and unified management of sites, personnel, vehicles and equipment, reducing rural delivery logistics costs and stabilizing the service network in rural areas.

Thanks to the full coverage of rural delivery and logistics services in Yangquan, the sweet potatoes planted in Bangou village, for example, have expanded sales channels and sales from the previous 600,000 kilograms to 1 million kg this year, according to village official Chen Miao. 

Ji Min, head of the industry management section of the Yangquan postal administration, said that the administration will help express delivery companies improve the viability and service capabilities of village-level express delivery stations, better meet demand in rural areas, and promote the development of rural e-commerce.
