The city of Yangquan recently put its first atmospheric ozone laser radar vehicle into use. 

The vehicle is equipped with a new type of remote sensing monitoring radar which can continuously monitor atmospheric ozone concentration from near-ground to high-altitude and obtain more timely details related to ozone space distribution information in different areas by means of its mobile navigation function. 

According to the Yangquan ecological and environment bureau, by monitoring ozone concentration difference in different areas as well as other volatile organic objects and nitrogen oxide, the vehicle can analyze the cause of ozone pollution and contribute effective data support to air pollution prevention and control in the city.
