Yangquan prepares for energy expo
The city of Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province has been preparing its exhibition area for the 2022 China (Taiyuan) International Energy Expo.
The 36,000-square-meter expo is being held in Taiyuan, capital of the province, on Sept 1-3 onsite and lasts a year online. It is divided into eight exhibition areas for Shanxi and local cities, new energy, electricity power, energy storage, 5G+energy, energy conservation and carbon reduction, and new energy vehicles.
Preparations for the Yangquan exhibition area are being undertaken by the Yangquan Investment Promotion Center. The city's 11 companies, involved in autonomous driving, 5G-based coal mining, and new materials, have confirmed they will attend the expo.
The Yangquan Investment Promotion Center will also promote the signing of agreements during the expo. So far, a total of three projects costing 2.29 billion yuan ($331.21 million) have been included in its investment attraction plan.
