Yangquan city in eastern Shanxi province held a ceremony marking the launch and resumption of project construction on Feb 26.

This year, Yangquan plans to construct 323 projects, with an annual planned investment of 33.82 billion yuan ($5.23 billion).

At the event, 55 new projects were launched, and 72 projects resumed construction. These projects cover various sectors and involve infrastructure and improving people's livelihoods.

Mayor Lei Jiankun emphasized that all counties and districts in the city should carry out measures to promote project construction and production, optimize the business environment and allow enterprises to enjoy better services.
