Yagu, a folk show popular in Yangquan city in North China's Shanxi province, is divided into two performance forms: one featuring talking, singing and dancing and the other highlighting team formations which showcases ancient war scenes.

The folk art show accompanied by drums and gongs and is usually seen in worship ceremonies, temple fairs and festival celebrations in Yangquan city, especially in local Pingding county.
