Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province held an industry-education-research cooperation and exchange activity at Zhejiang University (ZJU), as well as a symposium for students from Yangquan, on Nov 28-29.

As a renowned higher education institution both domestically and internationally, ZJU has a solid foundation and strong cooperation prospects with Yangquan.

During the activity, the head of the Institute of Technology Transfer at ZJU provided a detailed introduction to research innovation, talent cultivation and industry-education-research cooperation between ZJU and Yangquan.

Officials from Yangquan introduced the city's talent policies, the implementation of innovation-driven policies, and the promotion of scientific and technological innovation and development, and expressed a strong desire and firm confidence in carrying out industry-education-research cooperation. ZJU and Yangquan reached multiple cooperation intentions and signed a talent cooperation framework agreement.

During the symposium, more than 10 students from Yangquan studying at ZJU, Hangzhou Normal University and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University interacted with each other, expressing their ideas and suggestions enthusiastically.

In the future, Yangquan will continue to improve the quality and efficiency of cooperation with ZJU, striving to achieve mutual benefits and inject new momentum and vitality into the high-quality development of the city.
