Yangquan artist Zhao Huashuang has brought pride to his hometown by having his Chinese ink painting He Jing (Lotus Realm) exhibited at the Louvre in France. The artwork was featured in the Henan TV Louvre International Exchange Exhibition and "Artistic Blossom" Contemporary Art Expo, held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations. This prestigious event showcased Zhao's exceptional talent on an international stage.
Created in 2024, Lotus Realm measures 1.38 meters in height and 0.68 meters in width. Zhao's distinct artistic style and mastery of ink have earned him widespread acclaim from art professionals and the public. Experts describe his works as "spiritualized artistic imagery", showcasing profound creativity and emotional depth.
Zhao Huashuang holds several esteemed positions, including memberships in the China Artists Association and the China Hue Art Association. He is also a national first-class artist, a member of the Presidium of the Shanxi Artists Association, and vice-chairman of its Landscape Painting Art Committee. Over the years, he has received numerous accolades, including being named one of China's "Top 100 Calligraphers and Painters" and "A Painter with Academic Value and Market Potential". His works have been featured in major domestic and international exhibitions and are treasured by various art institutions.
