Tourism booms in Yangquan during National Day holiday

Yangquan's tourism market significantly rose during the 2024 National Day holiday. The city's 21 A-level scenic spots welcomed visitors, offering nearly 20 holiday-themed activities. Most visitors opted for self-driving tours around the city, with popular spots like Niangziguan, Cang Mountain, Yangquan Memory 1947 Cultural Park, and Huabei Yifeng Ecological Park attracting large crowds.
Over 80 unique cultural and tourism activities enhanced the visitor experience. One such event was the "Telling, Writing, and Painting the Great Wall" art creation activity, which took place from Sept 30 to Oct 3, with the opening ceremony at Niangziguan Scenic Area on Oct 1.

Highlights included ancient-style performances at Niangziguan, a laser show at Taolingou, horseback performances at Dongzhai Longtan Canyon, and immersive experiences at Cang Mountain. Yangquan Memory 1947 hosted performances, film screenings, and cultural fairs, while Huabei Yifeng offered acrobatic shows and discounts. Xiahe Ancient Village also offered half-priced tickets.
Special bus routes were opened from Oct 1 to 5 to improve tourism, transporting nearly 5,772 visitors to explore the city's history, nature, and culture. Yangquan Station handled 57,657 passengers during the holiday, peaking on Oct 7.
Yangquan's rich blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and modern attractions made it a top destination for visitors during the holiday period.
