Yangquan goes hi-tech at cultural fair

Yangquan city in North China's Shanxi province has showcased more than 2,000 exhibits from 43 local cultural enterprises at the 6th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair in the provincial capital Taiyuan, leaving visitors with extraordinary experiences and gains.
The most popular area in the city's exhibition hall was the cultural creativity and technology section, where visitors were captivated by the fusion of technology and culture, with sci-fi novels and digital tech exhibits including unmanned vehicles and drones.

Nearly 10 intangible cultural heritage demonstration activities, including purple clay teapot making and pyrography, attracted a large number of spectators. The city's image promotion show on the main stage featured over 10 programs, including traditional opera, songs, and dances, showcasing Yangquan's exemplary artistic creations in recent years.
During the signing ceremony for key cultural industry projects, Yangquan signed agreements for seven projects, with a total investment of 93 million yuan ($12.74 million), involving the handicrafts, tourism, livestreaming, cultural creativity, intangible cultural heritage, and elderly care sectors.
