Yangquan's tourist attractions included in provincial summer travel routes

Cangshan Mountain and Niangzi Pass, two scenic areas in Yangquan city, were recently included in the five "Refreshing Shanxi" themed routes released by the Shanxi Department of Culture and Tourism. 

Located 18 kilometers north of Yuxian county in Yangquan, Cangshan Mountain scenic area covers an area of over 10 square kilometers. Its core cultural attraction, "The Legend of Zhao's Orphan," has been recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage. The scenic area consists of 168 attractions divided into four sections. Recently, new attractions such as a glass slide, a glass suspension bridge, and a shouting fountain have been added, greatly enhancing visitors' fun.

The Niangzi Pass scenic area in Pingding county is known for its unique water village culture, Great Wall culture, military culture, and folk traditions. It's abundant in water resources with over 100 springs and a total spring area spanning 3,600 sq km. Visitors can also immerse themselves in the enchanting performance of Meet Niangzi Pass there to gain a deeper understanding of local history and culture. 

The two scenic areas offer immersive experiences that combine cultural heritage and natural beauty, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the rich history and captivating landscapes of Yangquan.
