The China Yangquan (Beijing) Investment Promotion Conference was held in Beijing on May 25 and 26.  

Hosted by Yangquan city's authorities, the promotion conference was divided into three special sessions themed around professional industrial towns, new comprehensive energy and bulk solid waste utilization, as well as cultural tourism and healthcare. 

Well-known experts and scholars in related industries in China, representatives of entrepreneurs and people from all walks of life who are concerned about the development of Yangquan were invited to participate in the event, discussing industrial transformation and seeking win-win cooperation. 

Yangquan also set up a display area at the event to showcase its high-tech products, selenium-rich agricultural products, traditional handicrafts and industrial chains, and the development of professional industrial towns with local characteristics, attracting participants to have in-depth exchanges and negotiations. 

The event saw agreements on 36 projects signed on-site with a total investment of 15.81 billion yuan ($2.23 billion). 

Boasting rich resources, convenient transportation, and a solid industrial foundation, Yangquan has been accelerating the development of clusters of the new energy battery, digital economy, comprehensive utilization of bulk solid waste, culture, tourism, and healthcare industries with its increasingly optimized business environment and services.
