Yangquan political advisers, deputies to attend Shanxi Provincial Two Sessions
Yangquan city's 13 political advisers and 25 deputies arrived in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on Jan 9 and 10 to attend the upcoming Shanxi Provincial Two Sessions, namely the first session of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shanxi Committee and the first session of the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress.
Members of the 13th CPPCC Shanxi Committee from the city are well prepared, with first-hand information and opinions from the public and carefully written proposals.
They will listen to relevant work reports, participate in discussion, perform their duties, and offer suggestions during the event.
"This is the first time I've participated in the provincial people's congress. My biggest concern is community home-based elderly care services," said Niu Junrui, a Yangquan deputy to the 14th Shanxi Provincial People's Congress.
Liu Xindong, a Yangquan deputy to the provincial people's congress for three consecutive terms, will submit a motion to amend the Shanxi Provincial Local Legislative Regulations at the congress.
The provincial two sessions will last until Jan 16.
