Yangquan residents to gain access to clean heating supply
Around 280,000 households in the city of Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province will gain access to clean energy for heating this winter and next spring, according to information from the Yangquan energy bureau.
Yangquan signed contracts with 10 companies to guarantee central heating energy supply.
According to the deals, the companies are scheduled to supply 95.05 million cubic meters of natural gas, 280 million cu m of coalbed methane, 14,200 metric tons of methanol, and 48,044 tons of biomass pellets during the central heating period.
Information from the bureau shows that this year's energy supply volumes are all higher than the previous heating seasons, and should be able to meet demand.
