Pingding county in the city of Yangquan, North China's Shanxi province, recently signed a framework agreement with China Agricultural University to deepen cooperation.

According to the agreement, China Agricultural University will take full advantage of its strength in talent and technology and cooperate with Pingding in such areas as multi-disciplinary innovation and industrial chain solutions for the county's green agricultural development.

The two sides will expand cooperation in terms of platform construction, project promotion, achievement transformation, and talent introduction and cultivation. 

Before the signing of the agreement, Pingding county and the university held a discussion on county-level economic development in China. 

Zhang Zhenghe, director of the China Center for County Region Economic Research of China Agricultural University, said that the integrated green development of the entire agricultural industrial chain has become an important driver of rural revitalization. 

The center will provide a full range of technical guidance and consulting services, promote the implementation of cooperative projects, and provide strong support for Pingding to comprehensively promote rural revitalization and accelerate the modernization of agricultural development.
