The city of Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province has been moving forward with the construction of projects since the beginning of this year.
So far, the city has started or continued construction on 348 projects, and 44 projects have been put into operation.
Among the projects, 157 are industrial projects focusing on new infrastructure, new technologies, new materials, new equipment, new products, and new industries.
In addition, the construction of standard workshops and factories has been sped up to increase the carrying capacity of local industrial parks and improve the local investment environment.

To ensure that all projects can begin operating as soon as possible, Yangquan has issued a series of policies and measures.
The city has formed a set of pre-construction approval standard systems for investment projects.
It has sorted out 102 items related to business licenses, further optimized the approval procedures of construction projects, and shortened the time needed to complete various procedures before project construction.
A total of 557 government officials have been sent to enterprises, large-scale planting and breeding farms, and professional farmers' cooperatives to offer services.
They have sorted out 693 lists of problems, established detailed problem accounts for 868 companies and 60 key projects, analyzed problems, and clarified responsibilities and rectification time limits, greatly accelerating project construction and operation.
