Jiaoqu district in Yangquan issues policies to attract talent
Jiaoqu district in the city of Yangquan, North China's Shanxi province, recently issued a circular to further attract enterprise talent to the district.
The circular includes 10 policies to bring in more talent.
Jiaoqu district will explore the establishment of a smart innovation research service center led by local government departments, which will recruit and reserve professionals for the district's key development fields, provide services for local enterprises regularly, and build a service system for enterprises to attract talent.
The district will support the construction of academician workstations, post-doctoral research workstations, and studios for skilled professionals.
Subsidies ranging from 500,000 yuan to 1 million yuan ($77,093.14 to 154,186.28) will be granted to academician workstations established in the district, subsidies of 200,000 yuan to post-doctoral research workstations, and subsidies of 200,000 yuan and 100,000 yuan to national and provincial skilled professional studios, respectively.
For scientific and technological professionals introduced by private enterprises in key development areas and who make outstanding contributions to local development, a subsidy of 6,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan will be granted annually.
In addition, Jiaoqu district will encourage talent to register and set up high-tech enterprises. Such enterprises will enjoy preferential access to supporting funds and policies by Shanxi province, Yangquan city, and the district itself.
