A municipal government delegation from Yangquan city led by Mayor Lei Jiankun investigated and carried out business matchmaking activities in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province, as well as in the port city of Xiamen in East China's Fujian province, on May 6-8. 

During the three-day tour, the delegation visited Resort Software Community in Haikou, Xiamen Software Park, Xiamen Torch Development Zone for High Technology Industries, Xiamen High-tech Innovation Center and the corporate headquarters of San'an Optoelectronics Co in Xiamen. 

It acquired details about industrial park planning, construction, management and operations. It also learned about industrial policies, business incubations and technological innovation, as well as the results of the application of innovation in businesses. 

Mayor Lei expressed the desire to strengthen cooperation and exchanges with the industrial parks – as well as boost commercial links, bring in some of their resources and embark on innovative joint projects, so as to achieve mutual results. 

In addition, she invited the enterprises in Haikou and Xiamen to visit Yangquan, where they could conduct investigations and talks on investment and business development. Yangquan, she added, would provide high-quality and efficient services and create a first-class business environment for corporate development.
