A signing ceremony for the Huayang Education Award Fund for Taiyuan University of Technology sponsored by Huayang New Material Technology Group Co was held at the university on April 1.

According to the agreement, Huayang New Material Technology will donate 1 million yuan ($152,735.93) to the fund at Taiyuan University of Technology every year from 2021 to 2026. The funds will be used to reward excellent teachers who make outstanding contributions to the teaching of basic courses and core courses.

The two sides will carry out on-the-job and centralized training to cultivate professionals in accordance with Huayang New Material Technology's actual demand for high-level professionals and management talent in fields such as coal, electric power, new infrastructure, new technologies, new materials, new equipment, new products and new industries.

The establishment of the fund marks a new chapter for the two sides, following the joint venture to produce diamonds from coalbed methane, which was of great significance to mutual high-quality development.

Zhai Hong, chairman of Huayang New Material Technology, said that he hopes the fund will give full play to the advantages of Taiyuan University of Technology's scientific research projects and platforms. The goal is to train high-quality professionals and attract more talented workers to help the enterprise to develop new technologies and new materials.
