The gasification technology for syngas and steam co-production (Jinhua Gasifier) created by Huayang New Material Technology Group Co, which is based in Yangquan city, North China's Shanxi province, was exhibited and won the Seoul International Invention Gold Prize at the 16th Seoul International Invention Fair in South Korea. 

This technology solves problems related to the gasification of inferior coal and breaks the foreign technology monopoly. It has obtained invention authorizations from 12 countries, including the United States, Canada and South Korea. 

The gasification tech provides a Chinese-made method for the clean, green, ecological and efficient use of coal, and it has achieved considerable influence both at home and abroad.

The Seoul International Invention Fair is a large-scale international invention exhibition in Asia and one of the most influential invention exhibitions worldwide. A total of 464 projects from 24 countries participated in the fair, which was held online this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

China selected 15 projects to participate and won three Gold Prizes, three Silver Prizes and seven Bronze Prizes.

The award is an affirmation of Huayang New Material Technology Group Co's scientific research and innovation achievements.
