The Yangquan Science and Technology Innovation Laboratory was recently established at Yangquan No 12 Middle School in Jiaoqu district in Yangquan city. 

The lab's establishment aims to disseminate cutting-edge science and technology knowledge to young people, stimulate and cultivate their interest in scientific and technological innovation and guide them to independently carry out scientific and technological innovation activities. It will also improve their practical abilities, creating talent reserves of scientifically and technologically competent individuals.

The laboratory is equipped with intelligent robots, drones and scientific experiment supplies. It includes a science and technology activity room and achievement exhibition hall, a science laboratory and a science library.

It will comprehensively strengthen the management and assessment of scientific and technological innovation activities focused on talent training and maker education, teaching and research project declaration and intellectual property protection. The goal is to cultivate the innovative spirit and practical abilities of young people and improve the sci-tech teaching team's quality and skills.
