Yangquan city in North China's Shanxi province recently donated epidemic prevention supplies worth over 20,000 yuan ($3,000) to Pocheon city in Gyeonggi province in South Korea. 

The donation included disposable protective medical clothing and protective glasses.

The two cities signed a friendship city agreement last August, after a Pocheon municipal government delegation visited Yangquan. 

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the two cities have exchanged letters of condolences on many occasions. 

At one stage, Pocheon donated 2,000 protective masks to Yangquan, demonstrating the increasing friendship between two sides.
