Activities celebrating the third Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, as well as the Shanxi medicinal tea tasting and exchange meeting of Yangquan region were held in Shangqianmuping village, Yangquan, Shanxi province on Sept 23.

The event was hosted by the leading group office of the rural affairs of Yangquan municipal Party committee, Yangquan agriculture and rural affair bureau, as well as Yangquan municipal supply and marketing cooperative. It aimed to celebrate a good harvest and to share joy with the city's 500,000 farmers.

Cultural performances were staged at the event, while an agricultural product exhibition was also carried out.

More than 60 agricultural enterprises and cooperatives from all counties and districts of Yangquan showcased their high-quality products, including honey, miscellaneous grains, selenium-enriched millet, organic vegetables, pollution-free eggs, organic fruit, and medicinal tea drinks, providing attendees with a variety of flavors.

In addition to impressive on-site sales, orders on e-commerce platforms like Douyin, Kuaishou, and Taobao also flooded in during the event.

In recent years, agricultural enterprises and cooperatives in Yangquan have not only bolstered the agricultural industry and extended the industrial chain, but have also helped farmers sell more high-quality agricultural products through online and offline diversified channels.
