Guzhou Family Traditions and Customs Museum

The Guzhou Family Traditions and Customs Museum in Taohe Folk Culture Park consists of a main exhibition hall, a family traditions and customs experience center and a study center for traditions and customs, covering a total construction area of about 360 sq m. The main exhibition hall is categorized in 11 sections that cover such subjects as family traditions in terms of filial piety, courtesy, honesty and integrity and benevolence. It also showcases the family traditions of 12 renowned historical figures including Confucius, Zhuge Liang, and Pan Yue.

In addition, the stories related to the family traditions of 19 local families and individuals are on display at the museum.

Old articles exhibition hall

The old articles exhibition hall displays objects from yesteryear -- including old farming equipment, old-fashioned radios, black-and-white televisions, old photos and posters, rusty candy boxes and bicycles. Visitors can clearly see how things have changed over time and the social developments of Yangquan city.

Visitors can taste delicious food from across China on the cuisine street in Taohe Folk Culture Park. Some of the food shops on the street use open kitchens, allowing visitors to try tasty cuisine while witnessing how the delicious food is made.
