Shanxi Institute of Technology based in Yangquan city won second prize in the digital residence design category of the finals for the 12th National 3D Innovative Design Competition, which recently concluded in Yunnan province. 

Hosted by the China Graphics Society and organized by the government of Yuxi city in Yunnan province, the competition attracted around 2,000 participants in 700 teams from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across China – as well as countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. 

Throughout 12 years of development, the National 3D Innovative Design Competition has become one of the most influential science and technology events in China, in response to a national innovation-driven development strategy and the integration of the real economy and the digital economy.
