The first Yangquan Patent Technology and Product Fair was held at Yangquan exhibition center in Yangquan city, in Shanxi province, on Nov 2-3.

Hosted by the Yangquan market supervision commission, the fair -- with its theme: "patents leading high quality development" -- highlighted the concepts of innovation, environmental protection, energy conservation, economic transformation, culture and people's livelihoods.

The fair had more than 60 stands at the exhibition for patents, covering over 1,000 square meters. 

More than 50 high-tech enterprises from Beijing, Shandong, Guangdong and Hainan provinces in China -- and companies form South Korea and Australia -- displayed some 1,000 patents related to agriculture, construction, mining and intelligent systems at the fair.

About 1,000 experts, academics and senior technical professionals participated in the event, promoting more than 60 patent projects.
