Yangquan Kuang District Hospital is located at No 30, Beida West Street, Kuang district, Yangquan City. It is a section-level organizational unit, the public balance institution directly under Yangquan Kuang district Health and Planning Bureau. It is a comprehensive Class Ⅰ Grade A hospital, established in 1986 and is called the Kuang district Hospital. It was changed to Yangquan Kuang district Hospital in 1993. In 2007, according to the overall planning of community health service in the Kuang district, it was in its entirety transformed into the community health service center of Pingtan Street, which is one of the contract hospitals and six community health service centers in Yangquan city for public hospital reform. There are three community health service stations in Pingtandong, Dayuan and Dongshan, the outpatient department of methadone maintenance treatment and Xihe outpatient department. It is responsible for 11 basic public health services, including basic medical care for more than 48,000 residents in its jurisdiction, rehabilitation and physical therapy, health care for children and women, chronic care management, and health education.
