The Occupational Disease Control and Prevention Hospital of Yangquan Coal Industry (Group) Co, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yangquan Coal Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Hospital) is located at No 5 Taonan West Road, Kuang district, Yangquan, and it is a section-level organizational unit. With a total construction area of 20,133 square meters, it has a comprehensive building with one underground floor, ten floors above the ground and four floors in each of the east and west subsidiary buildings, and has functional areas for testing, diagnosis and treatment, surgery, hospitalization, office and logistics. It has 104 sets of large and medium-sized advanced medical examination equipment of over 10,000 yuan. It has a total of 170 beds.  

Department Setup: functional departments include the comprehensive office, the finance department, the medical department, the nursing department, the industrial and commercial health insurance office, the outpatient department, the hospital-acquired infection control department and the assessment office; Clinical departments include the first section of the occupational disease department, the second section of the occupational disease department, the internal medicine department, the surgery department, the rehabilitation department, the emergency department, the traditional Chinese medicine department, the stomatology department and the otorhinolaryngology department. The medical and technical departments include the radiology department, the clinical laboratory, the functional department, the department of occupational hazard detection and evaluation, the physical examination department, the department of general evaluation for physical examination and the drug and equipment section. Other departments include the equipment information department, the charging department, the storage and supply room, the general affairs section and the nutrition canteen.

The main work contents of Yangquan Coal Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Hospital are as follows: 

1. Undertake the occupational disease prevention business of the subordinate units of the group company (including the units outside this headquarter), including: 1. Carry out detection and evaluation of occupational hazard factors such as dust, noise and chemical toxicants on the job site; 2. Carry out occupational health examination for the employees exposed to occupational hazard factors; 3. Carry out diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for occupational disease patients; 4. Guide the occupational disease prevention work of each unit.

2. Undertake first aid and treatment of occupational injuries in the jurisdiction, and carry out diagnosis, treatment, health care, rehabilitation and emergency treatment of common and frequently-occurring diseases for employees and their families.
