Yangquan city in Shanxi province held a spring job fair on Feb 23, attracting more than 4,000 people.

The recruitment event consisted of six areas such as a dedicated zone for graduate internships, vocational assessment, promotion of preferential policies, and exhibitions of entrepreneurship projects.

A total of 147 companies attending offered over 580 vacancies in fields including construction, medicine, education, marketing and management. Some 700 jobseekers reached preliminary agreements with employers.
