Taiyuan Fantawild, in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, will kick off its Spring Festival event on Jan 29, the first day of the Chinese New Year.
A highlight of this year's festivities is the spectacular "Fantawild Wonderland" lantern show. Colorful lanterns will light up the park, transporting visitors into a world of poetic beauty and ancient charm.
For this year's event, Taiyuan Fantawild will introduce the century-old intangible cultural heritage of the Fish Lantern Parade. This parade is a grand spectacle of folk culture, showcasing beautifully crafted fish-shaped lanterns that symbolize prosperity and safety.
For even more festive fun, Taiyuan Fantawild has also prepared a "Fantawild Market," featuring intangible cultural heritage products, traditional performances, and delicious local delicacies.
The park will host its stunning "Fireworks Festival," which includes traditional folk performances such as the fire dragon steel flower, fire pot, and fire meteor shows.
Taiyuan Fantawild will also offer an immersive "day + night" experience from Jan 29 to Feb 13. The park will extend its operating hours from 10 am to 9 pm, giving guests 16 nights of exciting celebrations, allowing them to enjoy the festivities to the fullest.
