The 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in Shanghai on Nov 5. At the expo, the exhibition hall of North China's Shanxi province showcased 24 high-quality, time-honored brands and consumer goods companies, seven from Shanxi's capital city Taiyuan.
At the booth of Shanxi Arts & Crafts Industry Alliance Co, a Taiyuan-based company, visitors were captivated by the dazzling array of exhibits, immersing themselves in an experiential journey through Shanxi culture.
Last year, the company participated in CIIE for the first time, which led to many collaborations. It brought various creative products, including lacquer bracelet boxes and refrigerator magnets, which sold out, prompting urgent restocking.
Due to the excellent displays and discussions at the expo, numerous merchants from Guangzhou, Shaanxi, Shandong, and other provinces extended collaboration offers.
Taiyuan's number of exhibits has doubled compared to last year, including glassware, brick carvings, wood carvings, and Jin casting. Various cultural and creative products related to Sun Wukong, Shanxi landmarks, and the Chinese zodiac were also displayed.
Xiyouyuan Aviation Technology Group Co, from Taiyuan, has been listed as a key construction project in the province for six years and serves as a core enterprise in the province's airside economy.
On the first day of this year's CIIE, it signed a strategic cooperation agreement on aircraft materials with Hainan Airlines and a memorandum of cooperation with Honeywell.
