China Eastern Airlines is actively promoting the resumption of international passenger flights to support the opening-up of North China's Shanxi province.

After a four-year suspension, the Taiyuan-Yantai-Nagoya flight route will resume on Sept 3, operating with B737-800 aircraft, according to the Shanxi branch of China Eastern Airlines.

Flight MU5073 will depart from Taiyuan at 7:55 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at 7:40 on Saturdays. It will land in Yantai at 9:50, depart from Yantai at 12:15, and arrive in Nagoya at 16:10 local time.

The return flight MU5074 will depart from Nagoya at 17:10, land in Yantai at 19:00, depart from Yantai at 20:10, and land in Taiyuan at 22:15.

China Eastern Airlines has recently resumed the Taiyuan-Hong Kong route, which operates on Mondays and Fridays, and the Taiyuan-Bangkok route, which operates daily. Their next plan is to open an international route from Taiyuan to Singapore to further boost tourism and economic exchanges.
