To further improve the working environment and enhance its attractiveness to talent, Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, will invite 2,048 young people who have doctorates to visit the city from May 28 to 31.

These young talents come from more than 300 well-known universities such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Cornell University in 94 cities. They will experience Taiyuan's ancient yet vibrant atmosphere and see what it has to offer to talent.

The activity will focus on talent attraction, industry promotion, city publicity, and cultural display. On the first day, roadshows and research activities will be held to showcase the strong potential for innovation and entrepreneurship in Taiyuan.

The next day will feature cultural and recruitment activities to facilitate the interaction between talents and the city.

In the evenings, the young talents will visit Taiyuan's national tourism leisure area – Zhonglou Street, and the millennium-old Taiyuan Ancient County, to get a feel for the city's rich historical heritage.

Taiyuan will select 18 companies to showcase its "1233" key industrial chains and invite 168 talent-attracting universities, research institutions, hospitals and companies to offer 3,420 jobs, providing a stage for young talents to display their talents.

Lastly, Taiyuan will offer cultural experiences and city tours to allow the young talents to experience the city's comfortable living environment.
