The 22nd Taiyuan Coal (Energy) Industry Technology and Equipment Exhibition opened at the Xiaohe International Convention and Exhibition Center in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, on April 22.

The exhibition covered a total area exceeding 130,000 square meters, and oversaw more than 1,200 participating companies, making it the largest gathering of exhibiting companies, covering the largest exhibition area, and featuring the highest technological content in equipment technology in Shanxi.

It brought together leading enterprises in the field of coal energy and high-end equipment technology from both home and abroad, as well as top domestic academicians and experts. It showcased new technologies, equipment, and processes involving digitalization, intelligence, green mining, clean and efficient utilization, and ecological protection of mining areas, among other things.

At the same time, 20 technical exchange seminars and high-end equipment release conferences were held, providing a platform for cooperation and win-win development among domestic and foreign coal energy enterprises.

The participating companies included 35 Fortune Global 500 companies, 67 listed companies, and 83 foreign exhibitors. The total weight of exhibits exceeded 12,000 metric tons, with the proportion of special booths exceeding 80 percent for the first time, reaching 86 percent.

The annual exhibition has been successfully held for 22 consecutive sessions since its inaugural edition in 2002. From the initial participation of 80 companies to the current participation of more than 1,200 companies, the exhibition has become a nationally influential brand exhibition in the coal industry.
