The Taiyuan Housing Provident Fund Management Center announced on April 1 that foreign residents holding foreign permanent resident cards can now utilize housing provident fund services.

The center has successfully enabled the recognition and utilization of foreign permanent resident cards through the province-wide housing provident fund data interconnection and sharing platform.

Employees are now permitted to use these cards as valid identification documents for housing provident fund-related processes, such as deposits, utilization, withdrawals, or transfers.
