By leveraging the strengths of the Taiyuan Energy Low Carbon Development Forum (TELC), Shanxi province aims to establish a national demonstration zone for the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements in the energy sector.

TELC has become a significant event for Shanxi province, having successfully organized seven sessions as a national and international professional forum. With over 10,000 experts from various fields, the forum has advocated for a new international cooperation framework based on openness and mutual benefit, receiving widespread attention and acclaim.

Sun Yuhan, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and director of the Huairou Laboratory Shanxi Research Institute, proposed further developing TELC into an internationally influential platform for cutting-edge technology exchange, scientific achievement announcements, high-level dialogue, and international cooperation in the energy low-carbon field.

Shanxi has already concentrated a number of national scientific and educational resources in the energy sector, particularly with the establishment of the Huairou Laboratory Shanxi Research Institute, thus positioning itself as a strategic force in national energy technology.

Sun recommended transforming TELC into a major international conference, integrating it into a systematic mechanism and merging it with the national energy low-carbon forum. This will deepen international exchanges and cooperation.
