Taiyuan Wusu International Airport in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province successfully carried out its Paris-Taiyuan international flight COVID-19 prevention task on March 21, after the last group of international diverted passengers from flight MU570 left the airport.
The flight left Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France at 3:40 am, and arrived at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport at 1:11 pm.
To prevent the global spread of the pandemic, the Taiyuan airport cooperated with relevant departments. A total of 235 passengers and 20 crew members were transferred to the designated isolation point, undergoing quarantine registration, epidemiological investigation, nucleic acid testing, entry clearance, and luggage delivery.
After receiving the task, the airport began carrying out disinfection, stepped up management of relevant areas and pre-job training, and provided protective materials to reduce the risk of the virus transmission.
Over the next six weeks, the Taiyuan airport will also undertake entry security tasks for 11 additional international flights.
