Qingxu county in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, recently rolled out 26 measures to help local enterprises grow stronger and support local high-quality development.

The measures cover 12 areas, including financial support, innovation and R&D, optimization of administrative services, employee recruitment and the protection of companies' legitimate rights and interests.

The county will also encourage small and medium-sized enterprises to implement technological transformation.

For companies that purchase major high-tech equipment items or innovative products, the county government will provide subsidies at 10 percent of the equipment purchase price, with a single subsidy payment capped at 1 million yuan ($157,045).

Local enterprises that win the China Quality Award and provincial quality award will be awarded 5 million yuan and 1 million yuan respectively.

Those listed on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will each be offered a bonus of 2 million yuan.
