Taiyuan bureau of culture and tourism recently issued reminders to travel safely during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept 19 to 21 and National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7.
Before participating in group outings, tourists should choose legal and honest travel agencies, clearly agree on the itinerary and service items, and sign written travel contracts to avoid being cheated.
People must also stay up to date on information related to epidemic prevention and control, ticket reservations, tourist flow restrictions at tourist attractions, and traffic conditions before traveling.
During their travels, tourists should also pay attention to the safety of themselves and their property and self-protection against the virus. When faced with problems, tourists should seek help in a timely and rational manner.
As the Mid-Autumn Festival approaches, Taiyuan has carried out a comprehensive inspection of and enhanced greening efforts, gardens, safety, and management at local tourist attractions. Various scenic spots and parks have established themed landscapes to create a festive mood for tourists.
Major commercial districts such as Chaoyang Street and Liuxiang Commercial District, and major tourist attractions such as Taiyuan Ancient County, Jinci Temple Park, and Fantawild Oriental Heritage Amusement Park are expected to attract crowds during the holiday.
