Taiyuan Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone's cross-border e-commerce regulation center recently opened to the public in Taiyuan city, capital of North China's Shanxi province.
The center helped complete Shanxi's first retail export business under the 9610 model -- a customs supervision code for general cross-border e-commerce retail export business -- on Dec 31.
The center is a part of Taiyuan's efforts to develop the China (Taiyuan) Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Area, which includes the Taiyuan Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone.
The pilot area has currently established six systems for information sharing, financial services, smart logistics, e-commerce credit, statistical monitoring, and risk prevention and control. It has also launched a website and a comprehensive offline park.
From January to November, Taiyuan Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone achieved a total import and export value of 5.99 billion yuan ($924.42 million). Its year-on-year growth ranking was among the top three bonded zones in the country for six consecutive months.
