So far, it has attracted 21 high-tech projects to Taiyuan, contributing to the recruitment of top professionals and its industrial transformation, they added.

The projects -- many of which are presided over by returned doctors from Tsinghua University in Beijing and Tongji University in Shanghai -- have attracted professionals and talent from home and abroad to the city.

There are still some 20 projects scheduled to settle in Taiyuan Tongchuang Valley.

Officials said that relying on the academic disciplines and influence of Tongji University, Taiyuan Tongchuang Valley has helped boost entrepreneurial brands and entrepreneurial endeavors of Taiyuan.
