A flight carrying 130 Shanxi medical workers landed at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport in North China’s Shanxi province at 10:53 am on March 19, according to local officials.

The medical workers belonged to the ninth and the 13th medical teams sent by Shanxi province to support Central China’s Hubei province -- the area once severely hit by the novel coronarvirus epidemic. The medical workers were the first batch from Shanxi heading home.

Later on the same day, the province’s eighth medical team returned from Hubei after successfully completing medical rescue tasks.
