Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi province, recently streamlined the approval procedures for applying for market access -- to further optimize the local business environment, according to the Taiyuan administrative services bureau on March 12. 

Among the procedures for market access, those that do not require on-site reviews are being handled online, officials said. 

If on-site verification is necessary, a few people can be scheduled by the appraisal and evaluation departments to conduct reviews on the spot, instead of at a formal meeting. 

Officials said that since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, the Taiyuan administrative services bureau has carried out a series of measures to make things easier for the public. 

People can inquire about laws, regulations, department regulations and documents through big data retrieval and third-party platforms.
