The 2020 Coal Trade Conference of China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center -- or the CTCTC -- opened in Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi province, on Dec 11, according to the organizers.
The CTCTC, China Railway Taiyuan Group, China Railway Beijing Group, China Railway Zhengzhou Group and Shanxi Coal Industry Association together hosted the conference.
With its theme of "Innovation, Openness, Sharing and Win-win", the annual CTCTC Coal Trade Conference aims to establish a production-transportation-marketing platform.
This will offer services to coal companies and promote business matchmaking among coal companies, showcase new products and achievements in transformation of coal industry in Shanxi and advance the shift of Shanxi from an energy product supplier to an energy product and service supply region.
The three-day conference consists of an opening ceremony and summit, a business briefing session and 15 special events.
A total of 14 Shanxi energy companies, including five provincial State-owned coal enterprises, signed medium and long-term coal trade contracts with the CTCTC at the opening ceremony.
The transaction center also established strategic partnerships with the government of Shuozhou in Shanxi, Shanxi Coal Import & Export Group, Jiangsu Xuzhou Port Group, the government of Caofeidian district in Tangshan city in Hebei province and the management committee of Ganqimaodu port in Bayannuur city in Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
