The Industrial Solid Waste Comprehensive Utilization and Treatment Technology Forum was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi province, on Nov 10. 

The theme of the forum was based on low carbon and energy conservation, efficient utilization, circular economy and green development. 

It aimed to build a platform for related companies, research institutes, and government departments to facilitate technical exchange, project cooperation and academic discussion. 

More than 150 government officials, experts, scholars and students from universities and research institutes, and company representatives participated in the forum sponsored by the Shanxi Association for Science and Technology. 

Four experts and the company leader at the event delivered keynote lecturers on the comprehensive utilization of solid waste.

The event aimed to assist the commercialization of industrial solid waste comprehensive utilization technology, promote industrial energy conservation and comprehensive utilization of bulk industrial solid waste, power industry of resource comprehensive utilization as well as the efficient, clean, recycling and sustainable industrial development, according to the organizer.
