Attractions in Yangquan welcome holiday visitors

Tourist attractions in the city of Yangquan in North China's Shanxi province have prepared cultural and tourism events for visitors during the upcoming Spring Festival holiday from Feb 10 to 17. 

For instance, as a leading scenic area in Yangquan, Niangzi Pass will feature local folk activities such as yangko, dragon and lion dances from Feb 11 to 17. Starting from Feb 8, Taolingou scenic area will hold daily live drama performances during the day and a light and shadow show at night. In collaboration with Dongzhai Longtan Gorge scenic area, Xiadongzhai village will host a horse racing event on Feb 25. 

The Yangquan Memory·1947 Cultural Park has prepared a number of special Spring Festival activities, including a lantern exhibition and lantern riddle-solving, creating a joyful and festive atmosphere. 

Yangquan's scenic areas will also offer discounted admission tickets. From Feb 10 to 24, Cangshan Mountain scenic area will offer tickets at a discounted price of 19.9 yuan ($2.76). The North China Yifeng Ecological Park will launch the Ice and Snow Cultural Festival with discounted package tickets priced at 49.9 yuan. Dachang Hot Spring Resort will introduce a limited-time annual card promotion for the Year of the Dragon, offering a year of unlimited free hot spring access for as low as 299 yuan.
