Yangquan highlights cultural experiences over May Day holiday

As the May Day holiday approaches, Yangquan bureau of culture and tourism has taken measures to adapt to the new needs of tourism consumption in Yangquan city. 

The bureau has integrated cultural tourism activities and tourism resources and highlighted the integration of trendy culture and featured folk activities.

It has prepared a wide range of public cultural services themed around celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China at local tourist attractions and demonstrative villages for rural tourism.

In addition to organizing libraries and cultural centers to implement free programs during the coming holiday, the municipal and county-level cultural and tourism bureaus in Yangquan have organized public cultural exhibitions, lectures, concerts and special performances at public cultural venues. Public lectures will also be held at tourist attractions, and books have been sent to scenic spots to help visitors learn more about Yangquan while viewing natural landscapes. 

Yangquan's tourist attractions will also provide residents with rich, novel and enjoyable cultural feasts: Pingding county's "Meet Niangzi Pass" May Day Cultural Festival, Yuxian county's folk music performances and the Cultural Night Fair of Xiaohe village in Chengqu district.

Trendy visual experience events such as Kuangqu district's electric music cultural festival and Jiaoqu district's light shows will create a festive atmosphere in the city.
