From January to November 2025, Linfen's added value of manufacturing surged by 20 percent year-on-year, surpassing the provincial target of 6.3 percent by 13.7 percentage points. This growth has contributed 3.3 percentage points to the city's overall growth of industries above a designated size.

The equipment manufacturing sector stood out with its remarkable performance, fueled by strong momentum from new projects. It achieved a year-on-year growth of 44.1 percent, boosting manufacturing growth by 13.7 percentage points and overall growth of industries above a designated size by 2.2 percentage points.

The coking sector played a crucial role in stabilizing growth. Its contribution rate reached 19.69 percent, driving manufacturing growth by 3.94 percentage points and the overall growth of industries above a designated size by 0.78 percentage points, showcasing the robust strength of upgraded traditional industries.

The chemical sector saw quality and quantity improvements through project iterations, with a cumulative growth of 36.2 percent from January to November 2025. It enhanced manufacturing by 3.75 percentage points and the industries above a designated size by 0.6 percentage points.

The rapid rise of emerging sectors has injected new vitality into Linfen's transformation. Strategic emerging industries grew by 11.1 percent year-on-year, outpacing overall industrial growth by 2.4 percentage points and highlighting Linfen's strong momentum in transitioning from traditional to emerging sectors, and from scale to quality.
