As winter arrives in northern China, Taiyuan in Shanxi province is witnessing a booming ice and snow tourism market. Local ski resorts are experiencing high visitor numbers every weekend, with locals and tourists flocking to the slopes to enjoy winter sports, significantly boosting the winter economy.

Caiwei Zhuangyuan Ski Resort, located in Shuigou village, Xinghualing district, just 15 kilometers from downtown Taiyuan, is a popular spot for locals to indulge in winter fun. The resort offers both day and night skiing, with slopes ranging from beginner to advanced levels, catering to diverse skill sets from novices to seasoned enthusiasts.
